Our quest to answer the question no one has ever asked, “what are the coolest MLB bullpens” continues. Bullpens 30 to 11 are posted on my twitter here.
#10 American Family Field (Miller Park)
American Family Field home of the Brewers have bullpens in a premier home run landing zone. I like the overhangs the bullpens have while also being pretty spacious in the bullpen. Pitchers have a great view of the game and I’m sure with their upcoming renovations there will be some more flair added.
#9 Dodger Stadium
While I am not a fan of the vertical bullpens in the sides of the bleachers, Dodger Stadium gets a massive boost due to their new bullpen overhang seating. Any stadium that designates cool seating areas for the bullpen gets a big boost. A minus is pitchers do not have anywhere to stand or sit with good game views while pitchers warm up.
#8 Yankee Stadium
Yankee Stadium’s bullpens have a lot going for them. Sandwiching Monument Park, I love the high rise benches against the outfield fence. Looks like they have a room for pitchers to hangout in too with glass windows to still see the game. The only thing holding it back from the top 7 is designated bullpen fan seating/viewing deck.
#7 Camden Yards
The left field renovations at Camden Yards threw some money the bullpens ways with 4 video boards and a new seating spot for relievers. I really like the stacked bullpens, and Camden Yards has a fan viewing area on top too. Camden Yards is a beautiful ballpark and their bullpens are great.
#6 Citizens Bank Park
Citizen Bank Park is an elite stacked bullpen. Incredible walk up bullpen seating for Philly fans to heckle the bullpen. Also a bonus that this looks like first come first serve standing room seats too. Tucked perfectly into the RF/CF corner, the bushes surrounding the bullpen fits the CF greenery nicely. Good benches with some shade, we’re in the tier of truly elite bullpens.
